IRIDAS Announces Shake Integration for FrameCycler Professional 3.5

Allows users to access playback application from within
Apple’s compositing package

MUNICH, Germany: March 23, 2005 … IRIDAS the leading innovator in resolution-independent playback technologies today announced full integration of FrameCycler Professional 3.5 with Apple’s Shake 3.5 compositing application. Shake users can activate a simple script allowing them to launch FrameCycler from within Shake, replacing the Shake flipbook with FrameCycler’s powerful playback engine and image analysis tools.

"FrameCycler's integration with Shake offers compositors and pipeline developers improved workflow and greater productivity," said Matt Plec, former Shake Product Specialist at Nothing Real (acquired by Apple in 2002). "With its dedicated development team and open playlist format, FrameCycler proved to be a huge asset for our work when I joined the team at ESC Entertainment."

“We’ve had a very positive experience working with Apple on integrating our functionality with Shake,” said IRIDAS COO Patrick Palmer. “FrameCycler is the only uncompressed playback application available across all three major platforms and Shake integration is a crucial element in the workflow of countless artists working in the Mac and Linux environments.”
